LESSEA: The Story

Hello, SEA lovers!

Aren’t you wondering where this brand came from and how it all started? Aren’t you already posing the question as to how our bathing suits differ and will complement your body any more than other swimwear brands do? Through our weekly blog posts, we are here to answer all of these questions and keep you involved in the development of our brand; as we evolve, you evolve with us!

Based in Paris, LESSEA has been a work-in-progress since 2015. As an aspiring designer eager to start a new life in Europe, Alessia Fiumidinisi left Montreal to study at Milan Fashion Campus, only to shortly after find herself accepted into one of the leading fashion schools in the world, ESMOD. Alessia knew the career path she was aiming for since a child, and that was to start her own, unique and personalized brand of clothing: swimwear. Incorporating lingerie into the bathing suits design, the brand aims to complement all body types while exuding class, femininity and sexuality. The bathing suits are meant to give the body the curvaceous look any woman desires and has the ability to look like. Despite the many different body types, LESSEA swimwear stays true to your body structure while giving you the look you wish people can see when wearing the intimate lingerie you slip on from time-to-time. 

You’re also probably wondering what the name of our brand comes from. LESSEA incorporates the first name of the designer, Alessia, as she believes that her brand must alway be associated with her and the unique idea to has worked her entire career towards. The letters “SEA” are simply to say, sea! What better word to be incorporated into a swimwear brand and show the delicacy of it?
